Adding dimensions to a model

We recommend going over the section on first before proceeding.

  • In the model page, hover your mouse over a metric, click on the vertical ellipsis (⋮) and select Dimensions.

  • In the Dimensions pop up, select the From columns radio button.

  • Choose the columns you need from the suggestions provided. The source of each column is listed below its name, which helps distinguish between similarly named columns.

  • Use the Filter option to further select the values to be added as dimensions (i.e, rows) under the variable.

Note: If you select multiple columns, they will be nested one below the other in the same order as they are added. You can use the Pivot option to reorder or hide dimension(s)
