Prerequisites

To connect Sapling to Drivetrain, you need:

  • An active Sapling account

  • Super-Admin privileges on Sapling

  • Admin privileges in Drivetrain

Sapling Setup

Drivetrain supports in-built integration with Sapling. You would need to generate and enter API Keys from an account with administrator access to get started.

Locating and Generating New API Keys

Users with Super Admin permissions can generate and view their own API keys.

  1. Go to the Integrations page of your Sapling account

  2. Navigate to the API Keys tab

  3. Copy an existing API key, or click on the Create New Key button

  4. Be sure to name your key descriptively, so you know how each application uses that key

API Key expires in 90 days.

The keys don’t get automatically renewed for security reasons, however, an email is sent to the owner of the API key 7 days before its expiration.

That’s it! Inform your Drivetrain customer success manager so that they can get started!
